2 x Locum Podiatrists required for locum roles in Outback Queensland. I’ve had great feedback from other locums. You will join a team of allied health clinicians and cover:
- Initial assessments and reviews
- Diabetic foot assessments
- General nail care and treatment
- Biomechanical and orthotics
- A generalist caseload predominantly for low to moderate risk clients
- Outreach involving road and sometimes aircraft with overnight travel. The multidisciplinary team provides outreach to communities in the area
- Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander population as well as general population
- Monday – Friday. The hours are flexible to account for time spent travelling to outreach sites.
- There are two locations available.
Additional Information:
- August/September for 8-12 weeks + longer term options also available.
- Locum rates based on experience, more for ABN.
- Potential for PAYG living away from home benefits (more take home pay, usually $5-7 dollars more an hour!).
- FREE accommodation, a private room in a share house. There may or may not be other occupants depending on timing. A car is also provided for local use.
- Return flights reimbursed.
