Your role will include:
- Providing clinical and strategic leadership to the surgical team
- Overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
- Leading clinical governance, workforce planning, and service development
- Collaborating with other departments and executive leadership
- Maintaining an active surgical practice while fostering innovation and excellence
- AHPRA Specialist Registration in Surgery (FRACS or equivalent)
- Proven experience in surgical leadership or clinical governance
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and driving innovation
- Commitment to improving patient outcomes and service quality
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Consultant-supported on-call roster
- Regular elective and emergency theatre lists
- Supervised procedural clinics and antenatal care
- Active education and training programs
