We are currently recruiting Child Psychiatrists for opportunities within a leading Mental Health Service in the Brisbane region. These roles offer the chance to provide specialist psychiatric care and clinical leadership within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment, delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient services for children and their families. The service is well-established and highly regarded, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and safe, compassionate care.
These positions focus on integrated, person-centred, recovery-oriented care, tailored to the unique developmental, emotional, and psychological needs of children and their families, with an emphasis on holistic assessment, individualised treatment, and supportive therapeutic engagement. There is also scope to participate in teaching, supervision of medical staff, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
Successful applicants will undertake a broad scope of responsibilities including admitting, diagnostic, consultative, outpatient, and on-call duties, while providing clinical leadership within multidisciplinary teams. The roles also offer exposure to a diverse and complex clinical caseload, supporting the development of advanced specialist expertise in child mental health.
