An exceptional opportunity is now available for an experienced and forward-thinking Psychiatrist to join a well-established mental health service as Clinical Director in the Wide Bay region in Queensland.
In this key leadership position, you will provide overarching clinical and strategic direction for specialist mental health services across the designated service area. Working at both an operational and executive level, you will lead the delivery of a contemporary, consultant-led model of care that operates seven days per week and meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and consumer-centred practice.
The role blends high-level clinical practice with system leadership. You will contribute to service development, workforce planning, governance, and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring services remain responsive to community needs and aligned with organisational priorities. As a senior medical leader, you will foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and innovation, while mentoring and developing medical officers and strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration.
This position offers a comprehensive employment package including superannuation contributions of up to 12.75%, 17.5% annual leave loading, salary packaging benefits, professional development allowance and leave, and flexible work arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
