This psychiatry role will see you providing specialist psychiatric assessment, clinical management, and leadership within a dedicated 12-week intensive support program designed to reduce hospital admissions and support consumers transitioning safely back into the community following discharge.
You will oversee a small caseload of consumers requiring structured rehabilitation and recovery-focused interventions delivered Monday to Friday. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive, person-centred treatment that promotes functional improvement, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes a Clinical Manager, Senior Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurses, and a Lived Experience Peer Worker, you will contribute to the development and coordination of tailored care plans in partnership with consumers and carers. You will provide senior clinical guidance to support high-quality, recovery-oriented care across the service.
The program operates using a hybrid service model, combining face-to-face appointments with telehealth consultations where clinically appropriate to ensure flexible and accessible care delivery.
