This Psychiatry role is based in a large tertiary referral hospital in North Queensland, the primary referral centre for a population of approximately 700,000. The hospital delivers a broad range of specialist services and has strong links with James Cook University, with active involvement in research and clinical trials.
Mental Health Services provide recovery-oriented care across inpatient, community, residential rehabilitation, and supported accommodation settings, delivered by multidisciplinary teams working closely with community partners.
This role offers a leadership opportunity within the Adult Mental Health Service. You will manage a clinical caseload while contributing to service delivery across hospital, community, and outreach settings. The position also includes participation in quality improvement, research, and the teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate clinical staff.
