As the successful applicant you will be joining a health service with a great reputation for delivering high-quality comprehensive medical, surgical, and psychiatric services to approximately 110,000 people living across Victoria’s south west region. With a strong commitment to integrated hospital and community-based services, this health service is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of residents living across the region.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated mental health professional to provide high-quality treatment and care for adults aged 18–65. In this permanent, full-time role, you will work as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred, recovery-oriented mental health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive mental health care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and other service providers
- Supporting family members and carers in understanding mental illness and recovery
- Participating in teaching, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the on-call roster as required
