As the successful applicant, you will be working in a large tertiary hospital with an excellent reputation for innovation, teaching and career advancement. The hospital provides public hospital and health services to a population of approximately 460,000 people. This hospital works in close partnership with the Sunshine Coast Health Institute, working together to implement new initiatives and improving health and wellbeing outcomes for the region.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions, including medication management and psychotherapy, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will work across hospital, outpatient, and community settings, delivering holistic, patient-centred care and contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the diverse mental health needs of the local community, in both urban and regional contexts.
