This rewarding role offers a varied clinical portfolio, providing specialist psychiatric care to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) across inpatient and community settings. Responsibilities include inpatient management, consultation services, outpatient clinics and active participation in multidisciplinary clinics and meetings.
You will also play an important role in teaching and supervising registrars, junior doctors and medical students, while contributing to the education and development of the wider multidisciplinary team. There are opportunities to pursue professional interests in research, clinical leadership and quality improvement, helping shape and enhance services for people with IDD.
