As the successful applicant, you will provide high-quality clinical care to older persons aged 65 years and over experiencing mental illness, dementia with associated behavioural symptoms and other age-related conditions. You will contribute to the development of contemporary, evidence-based older persons psychiatry services, provide clinical governance leadership, and undertake the training, education and supervision of junior medical officers and medical staff.
You will also work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide specialist liaison to other clinical units, referring hospitals, medical specialists and general practitioners to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
