Statewide Mental Health Services provide integrated psychiatric care through hospital-based inpatient units and diverse community programs. These include adult mental health services; child and adolescent mental health care featuring a Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service and a Family Therapy team; older persons mental health; a mental health helpline; and community-based initiatives such as residential rehabilitation and recovery-focused support.
As a psychiatrist within the Tasmanian Health Service, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment offering meaningful and varied clinical work across inpatient, community, and forensic settings.
