An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant Youth Psychiatrist to join a major metropolitan teaching hospital in South East Queensland, providing specialist care to young adults aged 18–25 experiencing complex mental health, behavioural, emotional and relationship difficulties. Working within a specialised inpatient psychiatry unit, you will be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
The role offers opportunities to contribute to clinical leadership, medical education and service development, while undertaking clinical assessment and management, multidisciplinary collaboration, supervision of junior medical staff, consultation-liaison activities, and participation in on-call, research and quality improvement initiatives.
