The Role
As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will:
- Provide high-quality, patient-focused anaesthetic care
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team
- Supervise and teach junior doctors
- Contribute to clinical audits, research and quality improvement
- Help shape the future of anaesthetic services in our region
- Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
- Extensive anaesthetics experience
- Strong teaching and supervision skills
- Experience in quality improvement
- Commitment to safe care and national quality standards
- Basic computing skills
You will have:
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications
- Eligibility for Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner, or another qualification as defined
- Strong anaesthetics experience
- Commitment to teaching, quality improvement and safe patient care
