The role
You’ll deliver a full scope of gastroenterology services, including:
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Endoscopy and procedural work
- Contribution to service development and clinical leadership

We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring:
- Experience working in a busy acute or trauma-focused teaching hospital, with exposure to complex and high-acuity cases
- A collaborative approach, with a demonstrated ability to build strong, collegiate relationships across medical, nursing, and leadership teams
- The confidence to step into clinical leadership, supporting and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care
- An ongoing commitment to professional development, including maintaining an academic or clinical teaching appointment
- Eligibility for, or current Specialist Registration with AHPRA, including maintenance of CPD and good professional standing
- Recognition by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) in upper GI endoscopy (highly desirable)
