Remuneration: $186,241 – $229,825 + super + allowances + salary packaging

This referral Hospital is expanding its Paediatric Department
and seeking two committed Staff Specialists in General Paediatrics
to join a stable, supportive, and collaborative team. This is an exceptional opportunity for paediatricians seeking diversity in clinical practice, scope for academic involvement, and a genuine work-life balance.
The Hospital & Role
- Level 4 Paediatric Unit: 8-bed inpatient ward + 2-bed special care nursery
- Supports 450 births/year via level 4 maternity services
- Care for neonates (>34 weeks), infants, children & adolescents up to 18 years
- Broad general paediatrics caseload, including developmental & behavioural
- Active involvement in outpatient clinics, inpatient management, and telehealth
- On-call duties supported by experienced team of 3 long-standing paediatricians
- Mentoring provided for early-career specialists
- Adjunct teaching and research roles available with the University of New England (UNE) School of Rural Medicine
- Contribute to student education and rural health advancement
