The opportunity
You’ll provide consultant-level obstetric and gynaecological care across inpatient, outpatient and on-call services, including complex and high-risk presentations. You’ll work closely with midwifery, neonatology and allied health teams, and contribute to clinical supervision, teaching, quality improvement and patient safety.
What you’ll bring
- Experience managing high-risk obstetric and complex gynaecological cases in a public hospital setting.
- A commitment to teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including with culturally diverse communities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a demanding clinical environment.
- Appropriate specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with eligibility for specialist registration.
- RANZCOG assessment as substantially comparable or eligibility via the expedited pathway.
Total Indicative Remuneration: $377,429–$848,152 per annum, pro rata. This includes base salary, leave loading, superannuation and applicable allowances. Actual remuneration will depend on appointment details and applicable allowances.
