We are seeking a committed Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a well-established and respected team in one of South Australia’s key regional hospitals.
You will deliver high-quality care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology, participate in clinical governance activities, and play a key role in the education and mentoring of junior medical staff and students.
The hospital offers a Level 2 obstetrics and neonatal nursery, providing comprehensive maternity services with over 500+ births annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-standard specialist care in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Contribute to safety, quality, and risk management activities
- Supervise and mentor TMOs, interns, medical students, and allied health staff
- Engage in CPD, clinical audit, and (where appropriate) research
- Fellowship of RANZCOG or assessed as Substantially Comparable
- Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
- Experience in tertiary or regional obstetrics and gynaecology
- Proven involvement in teaching, research, and quality improvement
