The role
As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will:
  • Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic services
  • Participate in the on-call trauma roster, managing a broad spectrum of complex cases
  • Supervise and mentor registrars, residents and medical students; ensure high standards of clinical care and documentation
  • Contribute to service leadership and a positive team culture
  • Engage in research and academic activity; strong publication track record supported
About you
  • Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
  • FRACS (Orthopaedics) or equivalent
  • Broad expertise across trauma, arthroplasty, sports injuries and complex limb surgery
  • Demonstrated leadership, teaching and supervisory experience
  • Commitment to improving Aboriginal health outcomes and working effectively in a cross-cultural setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
