About the Service
  • Integrated cancer care
  • Clinic operates up to 3 linear accelerators
  • Active Phase II & III clinical trials program
  • Strong MDT culture and academic links with the University of Tasmania
Your Role
  • Provide consultant-level radiation oncology care(inpatient + outpatient)
  • Participate in on-call roster
  • Lead and contribute to MDT discussions and treatment planning
  • Engage in teaching (undergraduate & postgraduate)
  • Contribute to research and clinical trials
  • Support quality assurance and service development
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Package from ~$484K+ (Level 9), with higher earning potential
  • Fully maintained vehicle or $28,786 allowance
  • CPD allowance: $16,974/year
  • Relocation + accommodation support up to $20K
  • Private practice earnings (PPS): ~35% of base salary
  • Flexible working arrangements negotiable
Eligibility
  • Specialist registration with Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
  • Ability to work at consultant level within a multidisciplinary environment
