As Deputy Director, you will play a central role in leading anaesthetic services and ensuring safe, high-quality care. You will provide expert clinical anaesthesia across a broad range of specialties, support daily departmental operations, and help drive service development and improvement.
About you
You are a collaborative leader and skilled Anaesthetist with a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
You bring:
- FANZCA or equivalent
- Specialist registration with AHPRA
- Experience in a tertiary or major hospital setting
- Proven leadership and resource management skills
- Strong teaching, supervision, and communication skills
- Willingness to work extended spans of ordinary hours to meet clinical demand
- A strong teaching and research culture with ties to leading Queensland institutions
