An exciting leadership opportunity awaits a visionary Senior Staff Specialist to take on the pivotal role of Divisional Director – Women, Children and Youth.
In this senior executive medical role, you will work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery – Operations, providing strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to ensure excellence in patient care, safety, and service delivery across the Division.

- A tertiary referral and teaching hospital for the Top End of the Northern Territory.

- 116-bed sub-acute facility

You’re a senior clinician with a strong track record of leadership in a tertiary healthcare environment. You have the strategic foresight, interpersonal acumen, and clinical credibility to drive high-level organisational performance and culture change.
Essential Criteria:
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the relevant Medical College.
- Demonstrated extensive senior-level clinical and management experience in an acute tertiary setting.
- Proven ability to lead complex clinical services and implement strategic and business plans in alignment with organisational goals.
- Advanced knowledge of clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, and resource management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams and diverse cultural settings.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage human and financial resources and foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.

- Professional Development Allowance – up to $29,670
- Private Practice Allowance – up to $89,611.50
- Second Roster Allowance – up to $42,677
