We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Surgery to lead Surgical and Perioperative Services at a major teaching and referral centre.

The Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Surgical Services
  • Oversee theatres, day procedures, outpatient clinics, and perioperative care
  • Drive clinical governance, safety, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead workforce planning, supervision, and development of surgical teams
  • Maintain active clinical involvement in your specialty
  • Strengthen training pathways and postgraduate education programs
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Motor vehicle allowance($28,786 p.a.)
  • CPD allowance($16,974 p.a.)
  • Relocation supports up to $15,000

What We’re Looking For
  • Fellowship with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Proven clinical leadership and service management experience
  • Strong commitment to education, governance, and quality improvement
