Social Worker required for hospital based role in the Northern Territory. You will join team of 60 allied health clinicians, including other Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplain, ALO. I’ve had great feedback from my current locums. Minimum six month commitment required. October/November start date.
- P2 level role - salary of $90,204 - $107,554 AND
- P3 level role – salary of $110,873-$124,173 – this is a senior level, leadership role.
Experience required:
- Hospital experience, case management, crisis intervention, working in a multidisciplinary team, case coordination, facilitate family meeting, psychosocial assessment.
Join this large allied health team, including some of my other locums. All have extended their time with this hospital. The team are inclusive and social. There is support and supervision available.
85% of the caseload is indigenous, with 50% coming in from remote communities. I’ve had great feedback from my current locums and this is a great chance to develop your skill set. If you like the outdoors, the lifestyle here is fab!
- There is accommodation available – 4 weeks free, then subsidised at $140 per week

- This is a fixed term contract, not a locum. You will accrue annual leave, sick leave, paid public holidays
- Enjoy salary packaging, 6 weeks annual leave per annum and 3 weeks personal leave per annum (pro rata basis for 6 month contract), monthly flexible day negotiated with manager
- Full time hours, Monday - Friday
The location is a great base for exploring the natural wonders of the Outback including: Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges and the Larapinta Trail, the Simpson Desert and the gorgeous NT watering holes. It’s also a fascinating spot to explore Australia’s Aboriginal culture.
