Experienced Hospital Speech Pathologist required for 12 month contract to start ASAP (ideally February or March). Based just two hours from Melbourne, you’ll join a team of 7 Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants. The caseload is adults. It is a Grade 3 level role, experienced Grade 2 clinicians also welcome to apply.
The caseload will cover:
- Adult acute AND sub-acute/rehab - assessment and intervention with adult hospital populations.
- Ideally you will have experience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting
- Videofluoroscopy competency highly regarded
- Team leadership, supervision and mentoring (shared amongst seniors)
- Quality improvement
12 weeks of accommodation is provided in the dedicated allied health houses within walking distance of the hospital- inclusive of all bills.
