Experienced Occupational Therapist required for this Northern Territory hospital. You will join a team of clinicians and cover a mix of acute and outpatients, including:
- Inpatients, outpatient, rehab patient and general medical and surgical patients
- Emergency Department including hands/head injury
- Ward based acute & subacute with 2 x rehab beds (predominantly stroke, fractures)
- Paeds ward - developmental assessments
- Outpatients including hand therapy
Additional information:
- 3rd August for 8 weeks + possible extension
- Return flights reimbursed (upto $1200) and free accommodation for locums
- Locum rates upto $72 + super + option for living away from home tax benefits – more take home pay!
- You must be confident working with minimal support
- Experience of working with Aboriginal clients preferred
85% of the caseload is indigenous, with 50% coming in from remote communities. I’ve had great feedback from my current locums and this is a great chance to develop your skill set. If you like the outdoors, the lifestyle here is fab!
