  • 7th April – 16th May - part time 
  • Inpatient rehabilitation caseload
  • NE Melbourne location
 
Social Worker required for locum based in North East Melbourne hospital. The role is to start 7th April – 16th May. Approx 20 hours per week, over three days. Occassional shifts at a site 25 minutes drive away.
 
 
The caseload will cover:
  • Adult inpatient – mixed rehabilitation (orthopaedic, reconditioning, neurological, cardiac, pain management etc.) working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) of OTs/PTs/Psychologist/DTs/Nursing/Rehab Consultants &/or Geriatricians
  • A typical day may involve providing patient support/adjustment support, carer support, helping to facilitate discharge planning – including attending case conferences with the MDT, support around future care planning etc…
  • You must have hospital experience (not just in student placements)
  • Eligibility for AASW membership required
  • If you trained overseas, you must have been assessed by the AASW BEFORE you contact me.
