We are looking for experienced Occupational Therapists for roles across regional NSW and VIC. Please see details below:

 
Regional VIC - Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist

  • 28th July for 12 weeks ++
  • Inpatient acute caseload
  • Locum rates + FREE accommodation available
Experienced Occupational Therapists required for locum based in regional Victoria, 5 hours from Melbourne. You will work alongside a large allied health team. This hospital caseload will cover:
  • A mix of patients including general medical, neuro, ortho and surgical - the caseload will vary based on your strengths
  • There is also the rehab ward which is a mix of sub acute ortho rehab, neuro rehab and geriatric rehab.
  • Full time hours, Monday – Friday
  • FREE accommodation available – my current locums are in individual serviced apartments



 
Regional VIC - Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist
  • Early July start for 3 months ++
  • Acute inpatient caseload
  • Accommodation available
Locum Occupational Therapist required for regional health service in Victoria. Join a team of 45 allied health professionals, including 13 Occupational Therapists. Early July start for 3 months ++.
 
The primary focus of this Occupational Therapist position is to plan, deliver and evaluate services to consumers.
  • The focus of this caseload is Inpatient acute caseload – general medicine, palliative, post-surgery
  • Acute and or sub acute experience required
  • Potential to cover some outpatient triage assessments
  • FREE accommodation available
  • Early July start for 3 months ++
 

 

NSW - 2 hours from Canberra – 2 x Locum Occupational Therapist – community caseload
  • ASAP start date for 12 weeks
  • Locum rates upto $65 per hour + super
  • Accommodation + travel
Locum Occupational Therapist required for a locum vacancy based in regional New South Wales. The role is based 4 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra. The location is also driving distance to Orange and Wagga. The role is to start ASAP for 12 weeks.
 
The Occupational Therapy services covers a broad range of clients including acute, sub-acute inpatients and community (paediatric to adult) clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to take an adventure in a beautiful regional NSW town. 
 
Option 1 - The caseload for this locum will be community paediatrics.
  • The paediatric caseload is community based (non NDIS) public health including private school based contracts (completing assessments, setting up school and class based programs) at a local primary school.
Option 2 - The caseload for this locum will be community adults:
  • Community hospital caseload (not NDIS) of mostly home modifications, equipment prescription, home safety assessment, education and ADL retraining, adult generalist community/rehabilitation.
  • I’ve worked with this service for many years and had great feedback!
  • Work as part of a large, vibrant Allied Health Team. There are other OTs and AHAs on the team currently. 
Accommodation is available within walking distance to the hospital. The cost is approx. $70 per week. This is a private room with shared facilities. Travel costs up to $200 can also be reimbursed. Locum rates upto $65 per hour + super. Great feedback from my current locums!
 
 


Regional NSW - Hospital Occupational Therapist – Rural Generalist – Level 1/2 - permanent
  • July/August start date
  • Permanent or long term contract
  • Accommodation available
Occupational Therapist required for a long term role based in regional New South Wales. The role is based 4 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra. The role is to start in July or August, there are both permanent or long term contract options. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary allied health team.
 
The caseload will cover:
  • Public hospital community work – home mods, ADL and IADL assessment, outpatient rehab, equipment prescription, falls prevention, safety equipment (eg. personal alarms), neuro retraining, safety assessments, cognitive assessment, hands (if has the skillset) and deconditioning.
  • Coverage of acute ward on referral basis (approx. 5 referrals a week) – mostly frailty, falls, post minor surgical, pain/decreased mobility and independence and deconditioning.
  • This is a Rural Generalist position so a great chance to gain a broad range of experience. Open to graduates and experienced clinicians.
