Locum Podiatrist required for a locum in North Queensland. I’ve had positive feedback from other locums. You will join a great team of allied health clinicians. The caseload will cover an adult caseload predominantly:
- Initial assessments and reviews
- Diabetic foot assessments
- General nail care and treatment
- Biomechanical and orthotics
- A generalist caseload predominantly for low to moderate risk clients
- Lots of road and overnight travel involved with a multidisciplinary team to outreach communities in the area – typically one trip every other week for 2-3 nights
- Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander population as well as general population
June/July start for 4 weeks +++ longer term options also available.
Locum rates based on experience, more for ABN.
Potential for living away from home benefits (more take home pay, usually $5-6 dollars more an hour!).
FREE accommodation, a private room in a share house. There may or may not be other occupants depending on timing. A car is also provided for local use.
Return flights reimbursed.
