Experienced Podiatrists required for role with regional health service, located approximately four hours from Adelaide. You’ll join a medium size allied health team. The role is to start ASAP for three months ++ in duration.
There are several vacancies across two locations. Open to AHP 1, 2 or 3 level options.
Your caseload will cover:
- Rural generalist caseload. Caseload is predominately outpatients, but includes some inpatients, aged care and paediatrics. May be opportunities for outreach to rural/ remote communities. Caseload would be allocated as per experience.
- You will be will be proficient in high risk wound care (with 30-40 active high-risk wound patients at the site) but would be working in a rural generalist role servicing clients across the age spectrum and across clinical priorities and programs.
- Regional/ rural experience preferred - working with Aboriginal consumers, high risk wound experience.
- Join a multi-disciplinary team including OT, PT, SP, SW, O&P, DT. The Podiatrists work closely with Diabetes Educators, Orthotics & Prosthetics and Wound Nurse. The Podiatry department will soon consistent of 3 contractor/ FIFO staff.
- You will be working in the local community. A car is provided for work purposes. The role will be Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

- Competitive locum rates in line with experience – PAYG + option for living away from home tax benefits or ABN (up to $100 per hour)
