A locum Radiographer/Sonographer position is available in Mackay, Queensland.
Benefits:
- $85-90 per hour plus superannuation
- Travel and accommodation expenses will be fully covered for the duration of the assignment, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience while you work in Mackay.
- 8 - 12 Week Contracts available with a view to extend
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
- Maximum of 80 hours per fortnight
- Overtime payable after 80 hours
- Weekdays: 16:30 to 08:00
- Weekends: 08:00 to 08:00
Candidates must hold dual qualifications as a Radiographer and Sonographer, with experience in general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging. Proficiency in general ultrasound, including General, Obs/Gyn, limited MSK, breast, small parts, vascular, and pediatric imaging, is essential.
Preferred experience includes previous work in Australia, particularly with QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS, familiarity with the QDoc Booking System for Imaging, and experience with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and ASAR. Mandatory competencies include Trophon certification, a QLD Radiation Licence, and skills in manual and patient handling, infection control, and managing aggressive behaviour
