Experienced Hospital Occupational Therapist required for this Cairns based service. The role is start on 15th June for 4 weeks. Full time, Monday – Friday 38 hrs per week.

- Hospital in the home service. Caseload is predominantly geriatric involving equipment prescription, cognitive assessments, reconditioning, dementia, pressure care, acute care, liaising with service providers
- 11 Allied health staff on the team including AHAs, Physiotherapists, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian. The team is super friendly with regular social catch ups.
- HP4 level role
- Locum rates of $80 + super + potential living away from home allowance (an extra $5-6 per home in your tax home pay!)
- Travel reimbursed upto $1000
- No accommodation available, however there is an allowance of upto $170 per night for accommodation. You will need to organise this yourself. I can provide options
- Driving license is required as assessments occur at patient's home. Staff use the fleet vehicles to complete home visits within a 50km radius of our community centre (Palm cove to Gordonvale).
