We are seeking dedicate Emergency Medicine Registrars/Senior Registrars to join one of Australia’s busiest and most advanced Emergency Departments, a University Hospital,
tertiary referral hospital, providing care to over 100,000 patients annually
across a vast regional catchment.
Contract:
Fixed Term Full-Time or Part-Time to commence - 4 August 2025

About the Role
As an Emergency Medicine Registrar, you’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with exposure to the full breadth of emergency presentations including:
- Trauma, paediatrics, obstetrics, toxicology, and geriatrics
- Indigenous and tropical medicine
- Inter-hospital retrievals via helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft
- ACEM-accredited training (24 months)
- Advanced skills placements for RACGP and ACRRM trainees
- External rotations in ICU, Anaesthetics, Ultrasound, Medical Admin & more
- Dedicated exam preparation, structured teaching, simulation and mentorship
- A highly engaged senior workforce of 45 FACEMs and PEMs
- MBBS or equivalent with minimum 3 years post-registration experience in Emergency Medicine
- Current AHPRA registration or eligible for AHPRA registration via competent authority pathway
- Enrolment in, or eligibility for, a recognised vocational training program (e.g. ACEM, ACRRM, RACGP)
- Commitment to high-quality emergency care and clinical learning
