The Opportunity
You’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care across inpatient, outpatient and consultative services while mentoring and developing junior medical staff. Working in a progressive and well-resourced department, you’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in outcomes.
As a senior member of the Department of Medicine, you’ll:
- Deliver comprehensive internal medicine services
- Contribute to the organisation and management of specialist general medicine services
- Support education, training, and supervision of registrars and junior doctors
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
- Referral hospital and the main specialist centre
- Services include General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Emergency, ICU, Surgery, Paediatrics, and more
- Recently opened state-of-the-art Cancer Care Unit offering comprehensive oncology services
- Teaching and training hospital with strong links to tertiary centres across
- FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in General Medicine
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Commitment to teaching, leadership, and collaborative multidisciplinary practice
