We are seeking a Specialist Cardiologist
to join dynamic and well-equipped Cardiac Services team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to advanced cardiac care, education, and outreach across Northern Queensland.

As a Specialist Cardiologist, you will:
- Deliver high-level clinical cardiology services across hospital, community, and outreach settings
- Provide expertise in echocardiography (3D, transoesophageal, Dobutamine stress), cardiac CT, and MRI
- Support research and teaching initiatives to develop the next generation of health professionals
- Participate in regional outreach to locations including Mt Isa, Palm Island, and Charters Towers
- Modern Cardiac Catheterisation Suite with two labs (incl. biplane), performing ~1500 angiograms and ~400 PCIs annually
- Advanced Electrophysiology program
- Cardiac Investigations Unit conducting ~2500 echocardiograms annually (incl. 3D and TOE)
- Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit (~500 cases/year)
- Integrated cardiac ward, ICU, CCU, Chest Pain Unit, and Heart Failure Service
- MBBS or equivalent, plus Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Cardiology)
- Registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA as a Specialist Cardiologist
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, leadership, and teaching
