The Opportunity
As a Specialist Endocrinologist, you will:
- Provide specialist outpatient clinics and inpatient consultation services
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
- Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health professionals
- Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and contemporary models of care
- Teach and mentor medical students, junior doctors and allied health professionals
- Participate in research and academic activities through an established university partnership
- Help shape and further develop endocrinology services within a growing regional health service
About You
Applicants should possess:
- Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with the Medical Board of Australia/AHPRA
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology, or an equivalent specialist qualification
- Demonstrated specialist experience in Endocrinology
- A commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Experience or interest in teaching and mentoring
- An interest in research, clinical governance and service development
- A commitment to continuing professional development
- Attractive remuneration package of up to $440,000, dependent on experience and appointment conditions
