An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced General Physician to join a collaborative and well-established medical team in regional NSW. The role offers clinical variety, professional autonomy and opportunities to contribute to service development, education and clinical leadership.
The opportunity
This position offers an attractive balance of broad General Medicine and subspecialty practice:
- 0.5 FTE General Medicine: Inpatient care across general medical wards, alongside consultations for ICU, HDU and Emergency Department patients.
- 0.5 FTE subspecialty practice: Geriatric Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology or Gastroenterology.
The hospital continues to develop, with planned infrastructure upgrades including a new inpatient building and a transition to digital patient records. Strong links with the University of Newcastle and Hunter Medical Research Institute support opportunities in teaching and research.

- Hold specialist registration with AHPRA
