We’re seeking a Physician (Renal, General or Acute Care) to provide specialist care across hospital-based and remote community settings(60-bed hospital serving an area larger than Victoria).

• Provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory care at the Hospital and surrounding remote communities
• Participate in a flexible, negotiable roster including:
  • • 2 weeks inpatient ward coverage
    • 2 weeks outpatient clinics and remote outreach
    • Shared after-hours on-call responsibility
• Supervise and mentor a team of 5 junior doctors, including RACP Basic Trainees, Rural Generalist Trainees, and Interns
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists including ED FACEMs, Obstetricians, Psychiatrists, GPs, and Paediatricians
• Engage in teaching, simulation-based education, and professional development activities, supported by a state-of-the-art Simulation Lab

1. Specialist Qualification
   Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent qualification in Renal and General Medicine. (RACP assessed as substantially comparable).
2. Indigenous Health Commitment
   Demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
3. Ongoing Professional Development
   Evidence of ongoing participation in continuing education, clinical teaching, research, and quality assurance initiatives.
4. Cultural Competence
   Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly in a remote or regional healthcare setting.
