Salary Package: Up to $310,389 + allowances (vehicle or allowance, CPD $16,974, on-call, PPS or 35% in-lieu) = TOTAL salary package up to $500,000

About you:
You’ll provide high-quality clinical care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology, contribute to education and research, and play a key role in shaping women’s health services in Tasmania.
This is a dynamic and collegial team with specialists spanning diverse clinical, teaching, and research interests. The department works collaboratively to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care and is committed to ongoing service development and innovation.
Also, the principal teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania, offering opportunities to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and participate in research and audit programs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver specialist obstetric and gynaecological care to women and their families.
- Supervise and mentor registrars, RMOs, and medical students.
- Contribute to education through the University of Tasmania School of Medicine.
- Participate in departmental research, clinical audit, and quality improvement.
- Support postgraduate training, teaching, and professional development activities.
- Specialist registration with AHPRA or eligibility via the RANZCOG Specialist Pathway
- Fellowship of RANZCOG (FRANZCOG) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Demonstrated experience across general obstetrics and gynaecology
- Current Working with Children Registration (Tasmania)
