What you’ll be doing
- Manage and oversee the care of surgical patients
- Provide safe and effective clinical handovers
- Escalate concerns to consultants where required
- Coordinate discharge planning and prepare clear discharge summaries
- Maintain accurate records via the Electronic Medical Record system
- Contribute to teaching, research, and continuous quality improvement
- MBBS (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate medical experience with procedural competency
- Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Practice in a supportive regional hospital environment with strong multidisciplinary collaboration
