Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist required for locum based in South Sydney hospital. 23rd June – 7th July. Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.
The inpatient rehabilitation caseload, will include:
- It's a 31 bedded rehab ward and there is another OT also covering the caseload. Caseload varies from post-op rehab, ortho, neuro, cardiac, falls and general recon patients.
- You will provide initial assessments, functional reviews (personal care, meal prep, car transfers etc), discharge planning, attending MDT/case conferences. It involves working closely with Physios, Ex Physiologists, AHAs, nurses and Doctors.
- Ample street parking around the hospital and the train station is less than a 10 minute walk.
- Experience in private and/or public hospital required.
- NO accommodation or travel available.
You must be able to cover a caseload independently. I’ve had great feedback from other locums! This role is not suitable for new graduates.
